Life in the Ephebian priesthood must be somewhat fraught. The intellectual outlook on life which
   Ephebe nurtures has spawned an inordinate and perhaps even unwieldy number of gods and goddesses to
   pay homage to, the result of this being that the City is home to an extraordinary range of places of
   worship dedicated to deities who ban and encourage such wide-ranging activities as eating mushrooms
   and juggling live alligators. This member of the religious order must have his work cut out for
   him.
