| The city of Genua has a long history of trading with the great seafaring nations of the Discworld. This mighty port, situated at the mouth of the river Vieux, and by the great expanse of the Swamp Sea is a favourite stop-over for merchantmen and trading vessels from as far away as Brindisi, Klatch and Agatea, along with the landlocked nations of Uberwald or Borogravia far up the river Vieux. Here, near the docks and market, a plethora of import merchants trade wares from far and afield to a city eager to sample such foreign delicacies and delights. This cluttered merchant seems piled high with all manner of objets d'art, a tiny wooden counter placed strategically near its door. |  |
