Kordane, the Ankh-Morpork Thieves' Guild Recruit Master, is a tall, dark-haired man, winner of the
guild's prestigious Severed Ear award three years running. It is said that he has a streak of elf
in his ancestry, which is why he likes to lurk in the twilight, waiting for somebody to come along
to entertain him with the music of their screams. Of course, most people know better than to say
this within earshot of him - and he has very good hearing - unless they want to contribute to his
interesting collection of molars.
