Cloisonne pot
Exuberant in gold, only cloisonne can achieve this brilliant effect. Each colour is separated bythe metal wire, repeatedly filled in with enamel and then fired, ensuring that the making of
cloisonne is a painstaking process. This particular vase has been filled with blues, greens, warm
golds and browns and the end effect is a pattern of lotus flowers, blossoms and leaves broken up by
a wreath of gold rings. With its finished interior, this cloisonne pot can also be used for keeping
small items.
