The Iron Philosopher is a tall, imposing old man with square shoulders, a body shaped from stone,
and a razor sharp wit. He competes in a weekly philosophy duel on behalf of the Emperor against
talented young up and coming civil servants. His cunning is legendary, his poems elegant, and many
a foe has been vanquished before his stunning insight, lightning quick reflexes, and superb iambic
pentameter. While he has probably lost some swiftness with age, his ferocity in combat has not
taken too sharp a dive.
