| This is one of those extremely specialised businesses that seems to do surprisingly well in a busy marketplace but would probably have floundered, like a fish in the desert, had it been opened on the edge of town. Thankfully, here in the midst of the Djelibeybi bazaar, it seems to attract just enough customers to keep the canvas tent fully patched and the shopkeeper in new robes. Its wares, a variety of inks, quills and other stationary supplies, have been showcased on a couple of wooden tables that have been arranged strategically in the middle of the tent. |  |
